IDNR - Freeman United Panther Creek Remedial Project – AML-BPeE-2308 – Bank Stabilization

As Prime Contractors, LaFore was able to eliminate hazards to persons and property that were caused by over topping of Panther Creek. This over topping of Panth Creek severely eroded previously reclaimed embankment adjacent to a 30-acre freshwater impoundment and washed away and access road to agricultural land at the southern end of the 80-acre parcel. Utilizing approximately 8,500 CY of import earth and 2,500 ton of Rip Rap to re-establish previously destroyed slopes and to prevent erosion of the reconstructed slopes in further over topping events. Restoration and revegetation completed the improvement of the disturbed area.
